
Ian Watson, Chair
Ian worked within the Local Authority and NHS Mental Health Services for over 30 years.
He also volunteers for a local rugby club on match days providing commentary and music to enhance the fan experience.
He joined the charity after wanting to get involved in something he felt passionate about and that his background in mental health could be utilised.

Richard Bayford, Treasurer
Richard is a qualified, retired chartered accountant. During Covid, Richard became a volunteer driver for the NHS and provided transport for lots of isolated older people for their appointments. He saw and heard first-hand experiences and once Covid restrictions were lifted, he sought a role that would make a real difference.

Elinor Chamberlain, Trustee
Elinor previously worked as the Head of Monitoring and Evaluation for Hull 2017 (UK City of Culture), she joined the charity after being inspired by the focus of Men in Sheds on tackling social isolation amongst men, particularly in relation to inequalities that they face when it comes to mental health outcomes.

Nick Todd, Charity Manager
Nick has over 20 years of professional experience in improving outcomes for local people within a range of projects including employability and life skills and young people with mental health issues and
ex-armed forces personnel.
